Compressed Air Foam - Foam supply

Foam concentrate is provided from a tank that is pressurized by the system air supply only upon system activation.  An internal siphon tube directs the foam concentrate into the system trim.

ICAF Compressed Air Foam Systems do not use bladder tanks, greatly simplifying installation and maintenance !

• Stainless steel pressure vessel stamped according to ASME Section VIII, Div. 1. 

• Available from 5 to 550 USGallons, sized according to FireFlex Systems calculations.

• External level sight-glass tube and foam sampling test port.

• Pressure relief valve and pressure gauge.

• NO BLADDER in tank !

• Approved Foam Concentrates:
    Hydrocarbons:  - National Foam Aer-O-Lite 3%
                           - National Foam Aer-O-Water 3EM 3%
    Polar solvents:  - Ansulite 3X3 LV Alcohol Resistant

• Design densities used:
    Hydrocarbons:  0.04 GPM/Sq.Ft. at 2% concentration.
    Polar solvents:  0.06 GPM/Sq.Ft. at 6% concentration.
