Compressed Air Foam Fire Tests

Fire Testing:  ICAF Compressed Air Foam Systems have been subjected to more than 600 fire tests in the NRCC's fire laboratory and with Factory Mutual in order to determine applications and system performances.  This represents more actual fire-testing than any other foam technologies !

Here are some of the fire tests successfully performed so far:

• UL-162 (comparisons with AFFF foam-water sprinklers)

• Class "B" Flammable liquids in power transformers, full scale fire tests

• Class "B" Flammable liquids spill fire tests (open and shielded fires)
