What Is TOTALPAC® N2 and Why Would You Choose Nitrogen Fire Protection?

TOTALPAC® N2 is a FireFlex integrated sprinkler cabinet that adds a nitrogen generation system to dry pipe or preaction protection to reduce internal pipe corrosion and improve long-term reliability.

TOTALPAC® N2 is a sprinkler system combined with a nitrogen generating system. It protects the hazard the same way as other water-based systems, but it improves the condition inside the piping by replacing oxygen-rich air with high-purity nitrogen.

You should choose TOTALPAC® N2 when long-term corrosion risk is a major concern. It is especially valuable in dry pipe and preaction systems, where trapped oxygen and moisture can shorten pipe life and increase maintenance costs.

The main options mean:

  • Single interlock preaction N2: choose this when you want detection to open the valve, but water only discharges after a sprinkler opens.
